THE BOAT RACE AT THE BLUE BOAT, FULHAM REACH

The Blue Boat in Fulham Reach, near Hammersmith, is right on the banks of the River Thames and the Thames Path, making it the perfect spot to watch The Boat Race.

An action packed day of activities, food and a range of tipples for everybody's taste there's something for everyone. We've teamed up with a whole host of big names to provide pop up bars on our riverside terrace including a Gin & Tonic bar, beer, slushies & bubbles!

We've got you covered on the food front as well, there'll be a BBQ from 12-6pm with a selection of street food on offer and if you're after something a bit more substantial we'll be offering a special Race Day set menu (reservation and pre order required in advance - enquire for more details). Sweet tooth? Then head over to the ice cream cart provided by our friends at Laverstoke Park Farm.

The first race of the day is the Women's Boat Race starting at 2.33pm with the teams getting to the Blue Boat around 7 minutes later or so. The main event is at 3.23pm and we'll be showing all the action on a big screen so even when the crews have disappeared out of sight you can still cheer on the teams. 80% of teams who lead at Hammersmith Bridge go on to win so you'll be in one of the most crucial spots on the course.

And when the winners have been declared we'll be putting on some live music from Tony Bowen performing a set of hits to keep the party going!

Boat Race day is always the busiest weekend of the year in Hammersmith so be sure to come down early and grab your spot as all tables for drinks will be available on a first come, first served basis.
